September 9th - "Next stop Funchal, Madeira"

Good morning,

Just pulled anchor and say goodbye to beautiful Porto Santo.

Light winds but favourable for Madeira, making 3 kn

Destination Funchal, Madeira, should be there this evening.

The whole solo circumnavigation now is starting to feel so real 😊⛵️

Had a fantastic stay in Porto Santo and met some lovely people, the Portuguese people are so open and friendly, even got a bag of clothes washed in the marina, Obrigado 😊

Very excited to see the main island of Madeira, I have sailed past it a few times but never landed before.

Hopefully get more wind as I clear the end of the island.

The stop was lovely but

So good to be sailing again 😊⛵️🌎
