Wind God's ⛵️

Good morning from Waxwing, just came about on a SE coursts. Sailed a bumpy 100 nm through the night in 20+ southerly winds, yet only made about 50nm south.

The wind gods are testing us on our journey. First days of no wind, now strong head winds. This course today is easier into the swell and still making it south. Forecast should get more favourable over the next few days all going well.

All else is good on board. I am so looking forward to passing the canaries then the Cape Verde and hopefully getting more trade wind sailing.

Most importantly, I’m loving the whole adventure so far and so is Waxwing 😊⛵️
