Good day from Waxwing Great day yesterday, everything working as it should have. Strong winds for the first part of the day until I cleared the northern tip of Tenerife and got a better true wind. The waves washed all the black volcanic ash off the decks. To say I’m happy is an understatement 😂😂, it’s like I never stopped at all, the routine came instantly and by 04:00 I was waking before my alarm clock went off. So beautiful to be back under the clear skies and gaze at the stars trying to pick out the constellations (I have a star chart to cheat). Winds are light today as forecast, I am sailing towards Madeira hopefully finding strong westerly winds there to push me towards Portugal. It still amazes me that the temperature stays the same day and night give or take a degree. Also the lack of wildlife, no birds whales or dolphins. Wishing all a lovely day today 😊 Waxwing out 😊⛵️
