November 2nd

Good morning from Waxwing Long night with little wind, eventually dropped all sail and sleep for two hours. Moving again towards the traffic separation zone off Cabo Sao Vicente. It will take me about 6 hours to cross so should be across before dark, definitely makes it easier in daylight. Some good north west winds forecast, my friend Paul Calvert ( Brego ) sends me regular weather updates which are fantastic. Have a look at the AIS apps marine traffic or VesselFinder and you will see the shipping lanes I will go through in about two hours time. I can’t complain though, my weather since leaving Tenerife last Wednesday has been good, so here’s hoping today’s forecast for a NW wind will be accurate. Back to long pants ,hoodies and wet gear today. Wishing everyone a lovely day 😊 Waxwing out 😊⛵️
