August 31st - "All good on board"

Morning from waxwing,

Light winds from the west today, making progress slow.

Making 3kn on a course of 224 degrees.

The barometer is steady at 2014.

Should be west of Finisterre this time tomorrow and have the bay of Biscay behind us.

Looks like plenty of wind then for the next leg to Madeira.

The ocean is so calm today and the reflection of the clouds on it are beautiful, every day shows a new picture for my mind to keep, it surely is a voyage of dreams.

It always amazes me how my patterns adjust at sea, I tend to eat when I’m hungry and sleep when I’m tired. The body adjusting to life at sea instead of living by the clock.

Hard to explain but a lovely freedom.
