Our Environmental Impact
Nature, wildlife and the oceans have always been a huge part of my life. I think during this trip I will be closer to nature than ever before, the ocean, the sky and wildlife.
To say I’m excited about the circumnavigation is an understatement but I am equally excited to try do something for the environment, I suppose to almost give something back if I can, even if that’s only raising awareness, for example micro plastics in our oceans, over fishing, or climate change. (I’m open to all suggestions)
Because of my route I will be in very remote, inhospitable parts of the world’s oceans and I think this is a unique opportunity to collect samples or data for research projects etc. I have been talking to two international environmental agencies and hope to have more news on this environmental section of my website soon ……

So grateful to have the support of The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society on this monumental journey.
Sea Shepherd is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. I am beyond proud to have spoken with the Sea Shepherd team to hear there value and incorporate them as my own on this journey.
